An applicant who had only completed his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering was pursued by the Bank to appear for the various eligibility tests conducted by State Bank of India for its employees. The applicant cleared all the tests namely 1. Written Test 2. Personal Interview 3. Medical Examination and finally attented the 21 days training session. He served from 22/03/2008 to 29/08/2008 and was Terminated.

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FATE OF THE APPLICANT ?

Saturday, November 8, 2008

A newly appointed employee of State Bank of India is handed over a Termination letter because he is not a graduate as on 01/04/2007 as stated in the advertisement. The candidate has till date served for more than 5 months starting from 22/03/2008 to 29/08/2008 to complete the probation period of 6 months.

I wonder if the candidate is not a graduate how come he was appointed and allowed to work for more than 5 months. The candidate's application should have been rejected in the very first place if he was not a graduate. He should not have been called for the Interview. He should not have been called for the Medical test. He should not have been allowed to attend the 21 days training programme. He could have been stopped from joining on the very first day of his probation. But he was not stopped, May I know why ?

THE CANDIDATE SHOULD BE APPOINTED AGAIN.
